Call For Fire Trainer (CFFT)
The Call for Fire Trainer provides a lightweight, rapidly deployable observed fire training system that will fulfill the need for an observed fire training device that supports all fire support missions; capable of depicting all current and future munitions and able to train all personnel in calling basic and advanced fire missions. The system is also able to recertify JFOs. It replaces the older Guardfist.
This system allows training in the calling of all types of indirect fire, to include naval gunfire. This system also allows calling for both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft. The operator of the system builds his scenarios based on missions his unit is likely to encounter.
