The Directorate of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for design, construction, maintenance and repair of all facilities, operation of utility systems, management of all environmental and disposal, natural and cultural resources programs as well as providing Army Family and Unaccompanied Personnel Housing services.
The Environmental Division's role is to ensure the community complies with all necessary environmental requirements. The division employees answer environmental questions or concerns and provide guidance and support to military and civilian personnel. The division offers also assistance and liaison services to U.S. family members and those who live, work and train on the installation and are committed to protect the environment to maintain a safe place for the community.
The Housing Services Office is composed of three divisions, the Housing Services Office (HSO), Unaccompanied Housing and Army Residential Communities Initiative (RCI) Division.
In Brussels and Chièvres, Directorate of Public Works (DPW) service orders are initiated by calling or visiting the DPW Work Reception located at Chièvres Air Base Bldg. 20006, Room 218. In Brunssum, service orders are initiated by calling or visiting the DPW Work Reception located at Brunssum, Bldg. 6, Room 117.
