615th ASB transfers authority to 127th ASB at USAG Ansbach
ILLESHEIM, Germany — The 127th Aviation Support Battalion officially assumed responsibility from the 615th Aviation Support Battalion during a transfer of authority ceremony here, March 3.
The 615th ASB, part of 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, is returning to its home station at Fort Cavazos, Texas, after a nine-month deployment to Europe in support of a Regionally Aligned Forces rotation.
The symbolic casing of the 615th ASB's colors and the uncasing of the 127th ASB's colors marked the official transfer of authority.
