Yakima Training Center is a remote and isolated installation, meaning that the instalation supoprt you may normally be used to is non-existent here. There is no Commissary, Clothing Sales, Class Six, medical clinic, dental clinics, on-post housing, or on-post school. However, we do have a small PX (more like a shoppette), a Child Development Center, a gym, an archery range, a fishing pond, a running trail, a small coffee shop, and an MWR eatery. Even though we are small, the cities of Yakima and Selah will have all the support you need, from shopping to medical care.
