53rd Ordnance Company
Our Mission
On order, 53rd Ordnance Company (EOD) deploys and conducts EOD force protection operations for military and civilian authorities to defeat or mitigate conventional and unconventional (nuclear, biological, chemical, and improvised) explosive devices to training units, Yakima Training Center, and throughout 85 counties in Eastern Washington, Northern Oregon, Central and Northern Idaho, and Western Montana as well as abroad.
The 53rd Ordnance Company (EOD) also provides support to the Department of State and the United States Secret Service under Very Important Persons Protection Support Activity (VIPPSA); and provides additional specialized training to civilian law enforcement.
