Command Sgt. Major Faith Alexander
Command Sgt. Maj. Alexander began her career at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, in October 1996, and completed Advanced Individual Training as a Geospatial Engineer at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.
Alexander has held positions as a Topographic Analyst; Terrain Analyst Sergeant; Squad Leader; Detachment NCOIC; Senior Topographic Analyst; Platoon Sergeant; Drill Sergeant; Targeteer; Equal Opportunity Advisor; Equal Opportunity Instructor/Facilitator at Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI); Senior Geospatial Operations Sergeant; and Battalion CSM during her tenure.
Her previous assignments include: 249th Engineer Battalion, Fort Belvoir, VA; Alpha Company, I Corps, JBLM; HSC, XVIII Airborne Corps; DEOMI; Patrick AFB; CC AIR NATO NORTH, Izmir, Turkey; Echo Company, 169th Engineer Battalion, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; 82nd Replacement Detachment, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; and 541st Engineer Detachment, Fort Bragg. She has also deployed as a Senior Geospatial Engineer with ARCENT, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Her military education includes: Basic Airborne School; Basic Leaders Course; Advanced Leaders Course; Senior Leaders Course; Equal Opportunity Leaders Course; Support Operations Course; Drill Sergeant School; Equal Opportunity Advisors Course; Army Basic Instructor Training Course; Sigma Lean Course (Green and Black Belt); Master Resiliency Course; Battle Staff Course; United States Sergeant Majors Academy Course Class 66; Battalion Pre-Command Course; Engineer PCC; and the Command Sergeant Major Development Course.
Her civilian education includes an Associate of Arts Degree, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Campbell University (Magna Cum Laude). Presently, she is currently enrolled in a Masters in Professional Counseling in Psychology from American Military University.

She has also been recognized as the 2012 United States Army recipient of both the Science Technology Engineer Mathematics (STEM), and the Federally Employed Women (FEW) awards.
