There are 31 Career Programs that represent functional community alignment of 100 percent of the Army civilian workforce. All positions, including Appropriated Fund, Non-Appropriated Fund, Direct Hire Foreign Nationals and Federal Wage System are aligned to a Career Program designation. Each Career Program publishes distinct training and development plans that outline progressive career paths with associated training and recommended position assignments. Professional development includes programs offering competencies, soft skills, and foundational training, to management and leadership development opportunities.
The factors listed in the Competency/Skill Assessment categorize the core competencies needed to build a federal corporate culture that drives for results, serves cuatomers, and builds successful teams and coalitions within and outside the organization.
