Command Sgt. Maj. Eric E. Dingman

Command Sergeant Major Eric E. Dingman hails from Aurora, Missouri. He enlisted in the United States Army in September 2002 as an Infantryman (MOS 11B).

CSM Dingman completed Infantry One Station Unit Training, Airborne School, and the Ranger Indoctrination Program at Fort Benning, Georgia.

CSM Dingman's assignments include all infantry leadership positions from Team Leader to Battalion Command Sergeant Major. He has served with the 75th Ranger Regiment; 101st Airborne Division University of Texas Rio Grande Valley ROTC in Brownsville, Texas; and the 4th Infantry Division. CSM Dingman's operational an combat experience includes 14 tours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Inherent Resolve, in addition to supporting operations along the U.S. southern border and multiple rotations to the Republic of Korea.

CSM Dingman's military education includes all levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Education System, culminating with the Sergeants' Major Course (Class 72).

He is a graduate of Airborne School, Ranger School, Air Assault School, and Pathfinder School. He earned an Associate of Science in Law Enforcement, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Workforce Development, and a Master of Science in Management.

CSM Dingman's awards and decorations include: Bronze Star Medal (2 OLC), Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal (3 OLC), Joint Service Commendation Medal with "C" device, Joint Service Commendation Medal (1 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (3 OLC), Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the Army Achievement Medal(2 OLC). He has also been awarded the Presidential Unit Citation (Army), Presidential Unit Citation (Navy), Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Army Valorous Unit Award, and the Army Superior Unit Award. He has earned the Ranger Tab, Master Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, Senior Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, and the Pathfinder Badge. He is a Centurion Member of the Order of Saint Maurice and a recipient of the Order of Saint George.

CSM Dingman is married to Jill Dingman, and they have three children.
