Colonel Timothy P. Meadors

Colonel Timothy P. Meadors commissioned as an Infantry officer from the United States Military Academy in 2001. COL Meadors first assignment was at Fort Hood, Texas, where he served as a Platoon Leader, Assistant S2, and Assistant S3 with 2-8 Infantry, 2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division. He later served with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, as an Alpha Company Commander and Battalion Assistant S3
 
Following company command, COL Meadors was selected to serve as an Army Congressional Fellow in Washington, D.C. Following his fellowship, COL Meadors served as the Battalion S3 for 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division; Battalion Executive Officer and Regimental S3 for the 3rd U.S Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard). He served as an Aide-de-Camp to the Commanding General of U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command.
 
In May 2018 COL Meadors took command of the 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. Following command, he served as the Military Assistant to the Secretary of the Army and the Chief of the Force Protection Division, Joint Staff G8. He most recently commanded the 193rd Infantry Brigade at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
 
COL Meadors deployed to Iraq three times and Afghanistan once in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He also deployed to Unit in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. His military education includes the National War College, and he holds a master’s degree from George Washington University.
