“COMREL REQUEST UPDATE: Due to the current fiscally constrained environment and the high operational tempo at Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield and within the 3rd Infantry Division, all Community Relations requests for support MUST be submitted no later than 120 days in advance. Requests submitted within the 120-day timeframe may not be supported, as they are subject to heightened scrutiny and review. To submit a DD2536 request for COMREL support.

The 3rd Infantry Division and Fort Stewart Hunter Army Airfield provide color guards, marching band and speakers to approved community events. We require no less than 120 days prior to the date of your event to process approved requests. Get started: Complete the DD 2536 and email it to COMREL. Call Community Relations at 571-801-2557 with your questions.

What you should know

Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield are closed military installations. All media visits need to be coordinated through our office and must have a PAO escort.
If you need help after hours, call 571-801-2557 and ask for the Public Affairs specialist on-call.

These requirements may include, but are not limited to: support for command and control; training; education; logistics; medical; personnel; special operations; engineers; public affairs; intelligence; and the conveyance of accurate information to war fighters, decision makers, and supporting organizations.
