EXPIRED DOD CREDENTIAL CONFISCATION IN EFFECT
In accordance with regulations and policies that were in place prior to COVID-19, Fort Stewart-
Hunter Army Airfield Access Control Guards will begin confiscating Department of Defense
identification cards that are 30 days or more past the expired date. The cardholder will be provided a
confiscation ID receipt in return that can be used for 72 hours until a new identification card is
issued by the ID card section. Individuals who need to renew their ID Cards can schedule an
appointment online up to 30 days in advance of expiration at
ID CARD REQUIREMENTS FOR MINORS:
In accordance with regulations and policies that were in place prior to COVID-19, Department of
Defense affiliated minors over 10 years of age will be required to have a DOD Dependent ID card

ONLINE VISITOR PASS REGISTRATION AVAILABLE
Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield visitors are now eligible to pre-register for visitors passes online through the Army’s AIE secure web portal. Simply visit https://pass.aie.army.mil/steps/branch_selection and follow the steps to submit your information for verification. If all checks return clear, the visitor will receive a custom text message with pass approval notification as well as pass start and end dates. The visitor can then visit the visitor control center during the pass approval dates print their pass from one of the self-service kiosks or use his/her driver license for access.
100 DAYS OF SUMMER H.E.A.T.
The 100 Days of Summer H.E.A.T. (Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic) campaign is a multi-jurisdictional highway safety program designed to reduce fatal crash counts during Georgia’s deadly holiday driving period from Memorial Day through Labor Day. This combination means Military Police, police officers, sheriff’s deputies and state troopers work together to get some of Georgia’s most dangerous offenders off the road. We all play a role in ensuring Georgia roadways are safe. Do your part by maintaining the proper speed limit, securing your seatbelt and enlisting the help of a designated driver when needed.
HUNTER RETAIL FUEL POINT DOWN
All services are unavailable at the Hunter Retail Fuel Facility bldg. 1428 until further notice due to maintenance repairs. The alternate fuel point for MOGAS is located at Fort Stewart Fuel Facility: bldg. 1860, SF 40 Tank Trail, hours of operation are Monday-Sunday 24 hours. If you have a fuel card you may
purchase fuel from AAFEES on Hunter Army Airfield. Please call (912) 435-0155 with questions.
ATTENTION MOTORISTS
The northbound lanes on Gulick Ave. is closed between 6th Street and Warrior Road for approximately two weeks to replace a collapsed manhole. Detour signs will be in place. Motorists are advised to please avoid the area and take alternative routes. Once the new manhole is in place and backfilled, one lane traffic will resume. EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATLEY:
The Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) will no longer issue DoD Civilian Retiree ID cards. Advancements in installation physical access control systems and procedures, and the implementation of the REAL ID Act, have eliminated the requirement for DoD Civilian Retiree ID cards. Issuance of new DoD Civilian Retiree ID Cards will be terminated immediately. Previously issued DoD Civilian Retiree ID Cared will be valid through August 31, 2023, and will not be reissued. DoD Civilian retirees will use the procedures at the Visitor Control Center to access the installation.
IPPS-A UPDATE:
Transition Centers are now able to create and sign DD Form 214s and Separation Orders! Soldiers that experienced a delay can contact their transition center for separation orders and to schedule an appointment to receive their DD Form 214s. Soldiers already on transition leave or separated but did not receive their DD Form 214 will receive a copy in the mail and in IPERMs. DD Form 214s for Soldiers who are on transition leave or separated will state “service member not available for signature.” DD214s marked this way instead of signed by Soldier are completely valid. If you haven’t received your DD Form 214 in the mail and haven’t had contact with your transition center by Feb. 15, we encourage you to contact the transition center at the installation you departed for an updated status. If you have corrections to your DD Form 214 after you’ve separated, contact the Army Service Center (#ASC) 24-hour line at 1-844-474-7772.
Mask Mandate Lifted at Winn, Medical Facilities
The mandatory use of face masks in all medical and dental facilities serving the Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield community is suspended. This policy will be reviewed periodically and may change based on the community COVID-19 infection rates. Thank you for your patience and support.

Operation Security starts with you. Protect yourself and your Soldier. Keep the 5W’s to yourself and don’t discuss troop movements or locations, names, ranks, units, or dates/times of departures, flights, landings, take-offs on social media, email or phone etc.
CONTROLLED BURN SEASON ONGOING
The Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield Forestry Branch has begun conducting controlled burns at various locations on the installation each week. FORT STEWART PHARMACY UPDATE
The Fort Stewart PX and Main Outpatient Pharmacies operating hours are 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Patients who are trying to pick up refills of medications that have already been filled one or more times, should call their prescriptions in to the automated refill line at (912) 435-6576. They can visit the pharmacy three business days after, to pick up their medications. Patients who have new prescriptions written by their providers should use the QAnywhere system to virtually hop in line at a pharmacy without having to wait in the lobby. Patients who need a new prescription to be written by a provider should use the Genesis Patient Portal to set up an appointment.

DENTAL APPOINTMENT NOTICE
Do not cancel your Dental Appointments through the MHS Genesis Patient Portal or the Automated Phone call. These two things do not communicate with our dental system, DENTRIX. If the appointment is cancelled by these two methods our Dental clinics will not be tracking and the appointment will be considered FAILED. There are numerous volunteer activities both for those who want to provide a helping hand as well as those with special skills/professional licensure. Be a registered Red Cross volunteer. Military shoppers can have snacks delivered on-demand as the Fort Stewart Exchange has expanded its on-post delivery service partnership with DoorDash to include food, drinks and quick meals from Express convenience stores. "The Exchange looks for opportunities to improve the quality of life for all who live and work on the installation," said Fort Stewart Exchange General Manager Hollie Heft Morales. REDUCE YOUR PHARMACY WAIT TIME WITH Q-ANYWHERE:
Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield MEDDAC offers a way to reduce wait times for new medications at the installation's pharmacies and Richmond Hill Medical Home. You reduce pharmacy wait times by using Q-Anywhere. Check-In to activate your new prescriptions by texting "GET IN LINE” to 1-833-457-2014. You will then get a text to input your DoD Identification number and pharmacy location. The pharmacy will text you, after your prescriptions are ready for pick-up. Text "I Am Here” when you arrive at the lobby. You must be in the lobby. When you arrive, do not pull a new ticket. If you do, it will remove the Q-Anywhere ticket.
STATE CARRY ACT DOES NOT APPLY ON POST :
The recently passed Georgia Constitutional Carry Act does not apply to Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield or any Army installation in Georgia. Per Army Regulation 190-11, the carrying of privately owned weapons and ammunition is prohibited on post unless authorized by the Senior Commander. Also, the carrying of a concealed weapon on the installation is prohibited regardless of whether a state or county permit has been obtained. For questions about the regulation or how to register personally owned weapons on post, call the Directorate of Emergency Services at (912) 767-2285.

WIPES CLOG PIPES:
Disposable wipes — used for changing diapers, personal hygiene, housecleaning, and more — cause major problems when flushed down toilets. Although many brands of disposable wipes are labeled "flushable," don't flush them! Even though some products claim to be flushable, they do not break down easily or quickly enough, clogging sewage treatment systems and causing sewage spills.
