UPDATE YOUR ADPAAS
Readiness is not just about equipment and training; it is about ensuring the safety and security of our most vital asset: our people. The Army Disaster Personnel Accountability and Assessment System (ADPAAS) is our primary tool for accountability and support during natural or man-made disasters. When a crisis strikes, every second counts. Having accurate, up-to-date contact information in ADPAAS ensures that commanders can swiftly account for personnel, assess critical needs, and rapidly deliver essential services such as housing, medical care, and financial assistance. Furthermore, for our forward-deployed service members, knowing that their families are safe and accounted for back home provides invaluable peace of mind, allowing them to remain fully focused on the mission. Login at  https://adpaas.army.mil or use the ADPASS App on your phone, and update your information today!

CIF OPERATIONS UPDATE: SEAM OVERVIEW
SEAM (Soldier Equipment Asset Management) is the U.S. Army's modern digital platform designed to streamline how soldiers manage their gear, replacing the manual, paper-heavy CIF process. It acts as a centralized app for issuing, returning, and tracking individual equipment (OCIE), allowing soldiers to validate records and handle gear issues instantly. It simplifies how soldiers order, return, and swap out gear, making it a "fast and easy" process compared to previous systems. Soldiers can make appointments directly from the SEAM portal. There is no need for a Soldier to come to CIF until they have a confirmed appointment.
  • Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield CIF local SEAM Information Page: Supply SGTs and S4s are invited to visit SEAM | 3ID & Tenant Units CIF SEAM (Questions & Answers) | Microsoft Teams for questions about SEAM and FLIPLs/ Statement of Charges (SOC).

  • FLIPL Process: Units must initiate FLIPL through the Army eFLIPL tracking system and obtain an eFLIPL inquiry number. Once you receive the eFLIPL Inquiry Number, please upload the eFLIPL packet in SEAM.

  • Statement of Charges (SOC) Process: Units must initiate SOC by populating DA Form 7923 and obtain SM/CDR signatures, then upload the DA Form 7923 into SEAM to receive a CIF document number. The CIF will update the DA Form 7923 with the document number. The SM will take the form to Finance and uploads the signed Finance copy into SEAM. The CIF will remove the item off the SM clothing record.

FOR EVERYONE

RANITIDINE (ZANTAC) RECALL:
The FDA has announced a recall of all over-the-counter and prescription ranitidine and Zantac due to risk of contamination with NDMA, a possible human carcinogen. If you are taking these medications the FDA recommends
disposing of them properly and not buying more; for those who wish to continue treating their condition, they should consider using other approved OTC products. Patients taking prescription ranitidine should speak with their health care professional about other treatment options before stopping the medicine, as there are multiple drugs approved for the same or similar uses. To date, the FDA's testing has not found NDMA in famotidine (Pepcid), cimetidine (Tagamet), esomeprazole (Nexium), lansoprazole (Prevacid) or omeprazole (Prilosec). For more information, visit https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-requests-removal-all-ranitidine-products-zantac-market.

FOR EVERYONE

ATTENTION:  As we enter the political campaign season, our leadership at the highest   levels remind us of DoD's long standing tradition to remain apolitical. For example, Soldiers and civilians may not engage in political activity while on duty (to include telework duty), in a Federal building, or while using government equipment. Political activity includes all political statements, whether verbal, via email, social media, or tweet. Active duty Soldiers are further prohibited from partisan political activity, such as wearing a uniform at a political rally or other activities that could associate DoD with a partisan political activity. While these employees may "follow" "friend" or "like" a political party or candidate running for partisan office, they may not post links to, "share" or "re-tweet" comments or tweets from the Facebook page or twitter account of a political party or candidate     running for partisan office.     All personnel will review the attached memorandum from the Under Secretaryof the Army, along with enclosures 2-4. These documents provide additional important details and guidance regarding permissible and impermissible political activities. Links below
