OUR MISSION

The PAI mission is to facilitate continuous improvement in the performance of Garrison operations and services. PAI serves as the Command Initiative Group (CIG) in support of the Garrison Command Teams and Directorates lines of effort (LOE).

PROGRAMS

PAI provides strategic planning support to align resources with mission requirements, goals and objectives. This is accomplished by leveraging the IMCOM Service Culture Campaign (SCC), analyzing Installation Status Report (ISR) performance management data, capturing Community of Excellence accomplishments, facilitating a holistic approach to strategic planning, and optimizing community partnerships.
Strategic Planning
Strategic planning ensures integration of operations through identification issues, constraints, and impacts; conducting effects-based analyses; developing alternative courses of action; and developing key themes and messages in support of Garrison Commander and Senior Commander. PAI liaises with off-post partnership groups and organizations, participates in appropriate community working groups, shapes the Garrison strategy toward achievement of current requirements and future initiatives. Lines of effort include Quarterly Management Boards, annual Strategic Planning Workshop, and annual Installation Planning Board.
Installation Status Report (ISR)
The ISR is an important management decision support tool used to assist leaders in making informed decisions by:
Providing Army-wide visibility and accessibility to facility, sustainable management and service assessment data.
Assessing condition and mission capability of installation assets and identifying the funding necessary to improve facilities.
Capturing the holistic view of installation capacities and capabilities (energy and water security, renewable energy, training and ranges, etc).
Evaluating the cost and quality of providing installation support services to Soldiers and their families.

State of the Garrison
Conducted annually at both Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, this interactive Garrison Commander forum recognize workforce accomplishments and inform on the Way Ahead. The address is based upon current strategy, a holistic approach that maintains organizational focus on continuous improvement. The Garrison workforce is encouraged to ask questions, highlight issues, or raise concerns for leader awareness.

Partnerships
Army partnerships are a vital tool for accomplishing goals, and encourage innovation through collaboration. Additionally, partnerships identify cost efficiencies, reduce installation service response times, and improve communications, which contribute to Army readiness, modernization and reform.

IMCOM Service Culture Campaign:
The SCC is a People-first approach that positively informs and influences interaction we have as IMCOM professionals every day. The SCC operationalizes the CSA's #1 Priority - People. The SCC is characterized by treating all people with dignity, respect, civility, serving with a sense of pride, and demonstrating service excellence in all we do.

Operation Excellence (OPEX)
The OPEX Training Program is ensures IMCOM professionals understand Service Culture foundations and hone their skills in delivering service excellence. The training focuses on established standards that ensure consistent service delivery across the Garrison. The course is also an essential part of on-boarding new team members.
