Command Sgt. Maj. Adam D. Albini, 1-210th Aviation Regiment

Command Sergeant Major Adam D. Albini was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. He enlisted in the Army in 2006, and attended basic combat training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and advanced individual training at Fort Huachuca, Arizona becoming a 96U, Shadow RQ-7B Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operator.

CSM Albini’s first assignment was as a UAV Operator with A Company, 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division at Fort Hood, Texas. He deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2007-2009. Later deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from 2010-2011. In 2013, he served as an AIT Instructor/Writer, Standardization Instructor, and Master Gunner with B Company, 2-13th Aviation Regiment, 1st Aviation Brigade at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. In 2017 he was assigned as a Platoon Sergeant with C Troop, 3-17 Air Cavalry Squadron, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. In 2020, he was assigned to K-16, Seoul Airbase, South Korea and served as the First Sergeant for both C and D Company, 2-2 Assault Helicopter Battalion, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade. CSM Albini went back to HAAF in 2021 and served as 1SG for D Troop, 3-17 ACS until 2023. From 2023 to 2024 he served as the HHC 3CAB 1SG and subsequently as the 3CAB Operations Sergeant Major. CSM Albini was selected to attend the Sergeants Major Academy in 2024 and graduated as part of SGM-A Class 75 in June 2025.

CSM Albini’s military education includes the Warrior Leader Course (Commandants List), UAS Instructor Operator Course, Shadow UAS Standardization Course, Army Basic Instructor Course, Advanced Leader Course (Distinguished Honor Graduate), Aviation Master Gunner Course, Joint Firepower Course, Senior Leader Course, Master Resiliency Course, Equal Opportunity Leader Course, Master Leader Course (Superior Academic Achievement), and Sergeants Major Course (Commandants List). His civilian education includes an Associates Degree in UAS Flight Operations from Cochise College and a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Workforce Development from the Command and General Staff College. CSM Albini is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership.

CSM Albini has been married to his wife Amanda for 12 years and they have two daughters, Emma (7) and Chloe (4).
