1-222d Aviation Regiment

1st Battalion, 222d Aviation Regiment serves as the student battalion, conducting Soldierization training by focusing on Army values, physical conditioning, warrior tasks and battle drills, and the Warrior Ethos of Army Aviation.

Lt. Col. Brandon Wess

Lt. Col. Brandon Wess was born and raised in Naples, Fl. He is married to Lisa Wess. They have been married for 18 years. They have three children, Charlotte (15), Ethan (12) and Lucas (12). They currently reside in Williamsburg since being assigned to Ft. Eustis in the summer of 2023. Upon receiving his commission he attended Flight School at Ft. Rucker, Al. He then graduated as AH-64D, Apache Pilot and was assigned to 3-501^st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion stationed at Stock Barracks, Illesheim GE.

Command Sgt. Maj. Trevor J. Clark

Command Sergeant Major Trevor J. Clark is a native of Oak Harbor, Washington. He enlisted in the United States Army in August of 1999 as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle Systems Repairer. He attended Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He reclassified and attended AH-64D Apache Longbow Systems Maintainer MOS training at Fort Eustis, VA in 2004.
