CSM Michael J. McQuality

Command Sergeant Major McQuality was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He enlisted in the United States Army out of Carthage, Missouri. He completed Infantry One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Georgia in 1999.

CSM McQuality has served as a Riflemen through Team Leader with 1st BCT, 10th Mountain Division, Squad Leader through Platoon Sergeant and MiTT Advisor with 1st BCT, 1st Infantry Division, Instructor and Branch Chief with the Henry Caro NCOA, First Sergeant with 3rd BCT, 82nd Airborne Division, Senior Military Science Instructor with University of Missouri Kansas City, as a Battalion and Brigade Operations Sergeant Major with 2nd BCT, 1st Infantry Division, as a Battalion Command Sergeant Major for 2-87 IN, 10th MTN DIV, and as the BDE CSM for 1MBCT, 10th MTN DIV. CSM McQuality’s deployments include: Two deployments in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, Two deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; Three deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom; One deployment in support of KFOR in Kosovo; one deployment to the Republic of Korea.

CSM McQuality's military education include all levels of NCOES, Ranger School, Jump Master School, Pathfinder School, Air Assault School, Rapple Master, Army Basic Instructors Course, Small Group Instructors Course, Tactical Certification Course, Master Resiliency Course, Combatives Level 1, Airborne School, Military Transition Team Training (MiTT), and Digital Master Gunner Course. He has a bachelor’s degree from the Army Command and General Staff College in Leadership and Workforce Management.

CSM McQuality is a member of the Audie Murphy Club and is the recipient of the Order of St. Maurice and the St. Martin.
