Lieutenant Colonel Elizabeth M. Johnson graduated from the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York, with a bachelor’s degree in history and was commissioned as a Military Police officer in 2007. She holds Master of Arts degrees in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University and Public Policy from Georgetown University.

LTC Johnson is married to Carley Cysensky of University Place, Washington and they have two dogs; Kimchi and Marge.
