Command Sergeant Major Michael Fisher, a native of North Carolina, entered active duty in August 1999. His previous assignments include: paralegal, 307th Engineer Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division; paralegal NCO, Division Artillery, 2nd Infantry Division; brigade senior paralegal NCO, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division; senior military justice operations NCO, Headquarters, 82nd Airborne Division; chief paralegal NCO, Headquarters, National Training Center and Fort Irwin; senior military justice operations NCO, Headquarters, 101st Airborne Division and Fort Campbell; chief paralegal NCO, Headquarters, 7th Joint Multinational Training Command, Grafenwöhr, Germany; Command Sergeant Major, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 10th Mountain Division; and command paralegal NCO, Headquarters, XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg.

CSM Fisher possesses a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice, has graduated all requisite levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development System, and his military awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, and Combat Action Badge. 

CSM Fisher is married to his wife, Stephanie, and they have one daughter, Isabella.
