Command Sergeant Major Kenyon K. Simmons
Command Sergeant Major Kenyon K. Simmons is a native of Currituck, North Carolina. He enlisted in the United States Army in May 2000. He completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO., and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, SC., where he was awarded the Military Occupation Specialty of 75B, Personnel Administrative Specialist, which later transitioned to 42A, Human Resources Sergeant. Command Sergeant Major Simmons has served in every leadership position from Human Resources Specialist to Command Sergeant Major.
CSM Simmons' previous assignments include Headquarters and Headquarters Company 1st Battalion 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment (Airborne); Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment S1, 1st Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment Hunter Army Airfield; Joint Communication Support Element, MacDill Air Force Base; 2nd Battalion 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) Bravo Company Yuma Arizona; Human Resources Command Special Management Division at Fort Knox, Kentucky; NCO Academy, Soldier Support Institute (SSI), Fort Jackson; Human Resources Command Soldier Support Branch Sergeant Major, Fort Knox, Kentucky. He recently served as the 30th Adjutant General Reception Battalion Command Sergeant Major.
