Chief of Staff - Ms. Tekeyiah Richardson

Ms. Tekeyiah Richardson is the Chief of Staff (COS), Joint Base Myer Henderson-Hall, Installation Management Command. As the COS, Ms. Richardson manages a garrison staff of 384 civilian employees responsible for delivering base operation services to the joint community in support of the Joint Task Force - National Capital Region & U.S. Army Military District of Washington mission and contingency operations.


Previously she has served as the Senior Advisor to the Director of Installation Management Command -Sustainment, to integrate strategic planning, operations, budget, financial operations, acquisition, internal review, human resource management, public works, logistical support, equal employment, and legal functional areas for over sixteen geographically dispersed installations across the continental United States.


Ms. Richardson has over 30 years of experience in government service supporting Department of Army programs. She has held various leadership positions in resource management, including Director, Resource Management Installation Management Command - Sustainment, Deputy Chief, Manpower and Force Analysis Division, Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management, G-8, Headquarters, Installation Management Command; Chief Manpower Branch, U.S. Army Installation Management Command, Europe Region; Chief Manpower Allocations and Analysis Branch, Deputy Chief of Staff for Resource Management, G-8, U.S. Army Europe.


Ms. Richardson holds a B.S. degree in Management Studies from the University of Maryland. She is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute Leadership for a Democratic Society program, and numerous leadership seminars and courses.


Ms. Richardson’s awards include the Commander's Award for Civilian Service, the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service, the Superior Award for Civilian Service, and numerous performance and Special Act/Service Awards. Ms. Richardson is a member of the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC).
