Mr. Brian A. Heidt is the director of the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security for U.S. Army Garrison. He is directly responsible for the execution of traditional DPTMS operations in support of garrison and tenant units; oversees the development and execution of all plans essential for the accomplishment of airfield operations, mobilization and contingency planning for rapid reaction to foreign, domestic and natural disasters; and serves as program manager for military training. He also directs, plans, manages and coordinates DPTMS programs and resources, and advises the garrison commander on matters that impact on assigned responsibilities. The DPTMS contains four divisions: Plans and Operations, Training, Security, and Kastner Army Airfield, and it also includes the Plans Analysis and Integration Office. The directorate synchronizes internal and external activities, which support the development, protection and readiness of our warfighters, the Civilian workforce, and the family members assigned to the installation.
