Below is a list of modified hours, closures and other information for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Thursday, Nov. 26, is a federal holiday and all garrison offices will be closed. Friday, Nov. 27 is a U.S. Army Pacific and garrison training holiday and a 25th Infantry Division day of no significant activity, or DONSA.
Soldiers should check with their unit leadership to confirm whether they have a day off or not. On training holidays, garrison offices are open but customers going to offices with uniformed staff may experience longer wait times than usual.
Child Care
-All child development centers, family child care homes and school age centers are closed Thursday, Nov. 26.
-Child development and school age centers will offer consolidated care Friday, Nov. 27. If you need child care that day, it will be available 6 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Fort Shafter and Petersen child development centers and the Fort Shafter and Schofield Barracks school age centers.

Dining Facilities

Health Care
-Desmond T. Doss Health Clinic: On Thursday, Nov. 26, only the Acute Care Clinic will be open. The drive-thru COVID testing area will be closed, but COVID tests will be available at the Acute Care Clinic. On Thursday, Nov. 27, the Acute Care Clinic and drive-thru pharmacy will be open. COVID testing will be available in the Acute Care Clinic.
-Tripler Army Medical Center: On Thursday, Nov. 26, only the Emergency Room will be open. COVID testing will be available at the ER. On Friday, Nov. 27, the refill pharmacy will be open 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and the ER will be open. Drive-thru COVID testing will be available at the Fort Shafter Flats testing area 9 a.m.-noon.
Island Palm Communities
-All offices will close early Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 3 p.m. and will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27. They will reopen Monday, Nov. 30.
-Maintenance emergencies should be reported to (808) 457-4075.
Off Post

Recreation
-The U.S. Army Museum of Hawaii will close early Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 3 p.m.
-Both the Tropic Lightning Museum and U.S. Army Museum of Hawaii will be closed Thursday, Nov. 26.
Retail
-Commissary is closed Thanksgiving day

Schools
-Friday, Nov. 27 is a school holiday and there is no school
-Adminstrative offices may be open. Check with school to verify.
Single Soldier Holiday Meal
