Halloween Events in the Benelux

Sneek into the SHAPE International Library for a spooky afternoon of stories, crafts, trick-or-treating and more!  Costumes are encouraged. Story Times at 12:30pm, 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Geared towards children age 6 and under, but all are welcome. No candy will be given out. We will only have healthy snacks. Don't miss our annual Trunk-or-Treat at Chièvres Air Base.  We will have a trunk trail near Army Lodging with (vehicle) trunks full of goodies for the kids. Come dressed in your favorite costume and bring a bag for all your treats!

Welcome all Shapians to the very first SHAPE Scare Fest Cinema held at the SHAPE Alliance Auditorium. Choose on any one night between the 26th thru the 30th of October to come watch a movie before midnight; then safe travels to you and your loved ones back home after the movie. Each night you can come and vote which movie should be shown.  You can come one night or you can come all five; as each night there will be a different selection of movies to vote from. Be ready to either enter through the spine-chilling and hair-raising entrance of the Scare Fest Cinema. Free games to play for awesome prizes to win and each night one person will win a grand prize for best Costume. Fair warning: Special Guests and Appearances by the Bogey Man, Zombies and their fiends could be waiting. So don't come alone.

Looking for something FUN to do to get in the Halloween spirit?  Bring the family out for a 5K run or walk! Costumes are encouraged but not required. All US, NATO, US Embassy and US Mission welcome to attend. For more information or to register, go HERE. 

The run will be located at the Grassy Area Behind CDC Building 616, SHAPE Belgium. Celebrate Halloween with CYS! Human kids will be chased by kid friendly zombies during this healthy and fun-filled event. For more information, go HERE. 

The 3 Star Recreation Center is planning a frightfully fun night for the whole family!    Enjoy a frightful photo booth and a community costume contest! Devilishly hot beverages, bone-chilling cold drinks and ghoulishly good food will be available for purchase. And don't forget the candy! Decorate the trunk of your car or a fest table to set the mood for trick-or-tricking! Prizes will be awarded to the top three decorated spaces!
