Garrison senior leaders and representatives to visit Army-leased homes Feb. 20-21

Following a recent hearing on military housing by the U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services, the USAG Benelux commander and select garrison representatives would like to gain an up-to-date understanding of the Army Housing and barracks situation in the Benelux footprint.

To do so, COL Kuester and/or some of his representatives will visit Army-leased homes in the Chièvres-SHAPE area during the early afternoon on Wednesday and in the Schinnen area during the late morning on Thursday. COL Kuester or his representative may show up and request to dialogue for a few moments regarding the quality of your housing experience, the work order process and whatever else is on your mind about housing.

Please remember that participation is totally optional. COL Kuester wants to make sure that everyone understands that they can decline the visit for any reason whatsoever.

If you would rather provide feedback in another format, the ICE system is always available. You can submit ICE comments HERE

Your and your family's health and welfare is important to the Army. Please consider taking a few moments to talk to the garrison staff and let them in on what your thoughts are about housing.

These visits are just initial checks and not intended to be comprehensive. It is very likely that your direct chain of command will also request a visit in the near future.
