LTC Sean M. Hollars

Battalion Commander

 

Lieutenant Colonel Hollars received his commission in the Infantry Branch from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2005.  He holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Gdansk, Poland while serving as an Army Olmsted Scholar. 
 
Lieutenant Colonel Sean Hollars assumed duties as the Professor of Military Science at Georgia Southern University in April 2022.  His most recent assignment was as the Executive Officer to the Commanding General of the 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA.
 
His previous assignments include Brigade Operations Officer, 2ABCT, 3ID; Battalion Operations Officer, 3-15 Infantry Regiment 2ABCT, 3ID; Commander HHC, 2-325 AIR, 2BCT, 82nd ABN; Commander C Company, 2-325 AIR, 2BCT, 82nd ABN; Ranger Instructor, C Company, 6th RTB; BN S1, HHC, 6th RTB; Executive Officer, B Co, 1-27 Infantry Regiment, 2SBCT, 25th ID; and Platoon Leader, A Co, 1-27 Infantry Regiment, 2SBCT, 25th ID.
 
Lieutenant Colonel Hollars’ deployments include Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Atlantic Resolve.
His military education includes the Infantry Officer Basic Course, Maneuver Captain’s Career Course, and United States Army Command and Staff College.

CSM Eric D. Caudill

Battalion Command Sergeant Major

 

Command Sergeant Major Eric Caudill is a native of London, Kentucky, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman in 1999. After a successful initial enlistment in the Marines, CSM Caudill joined the Army in 2004 and reported to Fort Campbell, KY as an Infantryman. CSM Caudill’s assignments include Marine Corps Security Forces Detachment Kings Bay (Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, GA), 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment (Camp Lejeune, NC), 3rd Battalion, 327 Infantry Regiment (Fort Campbell, KY), 2nd Battalion, 327 Infantry Regiment (Fort Campbell, KY), Nashville Recruiting Battalion (London, KY), 101st Airborne Division (Fort Campbell, KY), 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment (Fort Campbell, KY), 1st Battalion, 48th Infantry Regiment (Fort Leonard Wood, MO), 2nd Battalion, 11th Infantry Regiment (Fort Benning, GA), Sergeants Major Academy Resident Class 71 (Fort Bliss, TX), 1st Squadron 4th Cavalry Regiment (Fort Riley, KS), 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Schofield Barracks, HI), and is currently the Command Sergeant Major for 2nd BN 7th Infantry Regiment (Fort Stewart, GA).

 

CSM Caudill’s military and civilian education includes Marine Corps Recruit Training, Marine Corps Infantry School, Marine Corps Machinegun School, Marine Corps Security Forces School, Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, U.S. Army Recruiting School, U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Academy, Air Assault School, Rappel Master Course, TRADOC Commander/First Sergeant Course, Commander’s Safety Course, and all levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Professional Military Education including the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (Class 71). CSM Caudill holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership and Workforce Development from the Command and General Staff College.

 

CSM Caudill has deployed four times in support of the Global War on Terrorism to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Bahrain and one time in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve to Poland.
