Q.  What if I don’t see a program that interests me?
A.  Once you’ve narrowed down the type of program that would benefit your future goals, be sure you’ve reviewed and researched the opportunities available in the Army CSP Map and DoD SkillBridge websites. Our CSP Installation Administrator(s) may know of some other opportunities or can elaborate on programs. Alternatively, you can always design your own program. You’ll need to do the research on companies/training platforms and connect with them directly. This would fall under the “Individual Internship” program –even if it’s a training program and not a traditional internship.

Q.  Where can I find more information on DoD SkillBridge programs?
A.  https://skillbridge.osd.mil/

Q. Who approves my CSP Packet?

A. Once you have received an Acceptance Letter from your CSP/SkillBridge, email the Acceptance Letter to fortstewartcsp@army.mil for review and to receive the CSP packet for CoC routing and approval. CSP packets are to be completed and signed electronically by the Soldier and their CoC.

BN CDR: Lowest approval/disapproval authority.
BDE CDR: Lowest approval/disapproval authority for Administrative Absence greater than 50 miles away from home station in conjunction with CSP packet.

Q. How long can I participate in a CSP or Internship?

A. Each CSP and SkillBridge program have various timelines. Individual Internships can be up to 120 days.

A. Many programs offer space for Military Spouses! Reach out to the program you’re interested in for details and criteria. Locally, spouses can participate in Home Builders Institute, Heroes Make America, Service 2 Software, and more! It does not have to be the same program the Transitioning Service Member attends.
