MISSION
Build a unified program which embraces and reassures Survivors that they will be continually linked to the Army Family for as long as they desire.
PURPOSE
Our Fallen Soldiers have paid the ultimate sacrifice and the Army is committed to their families. The SOS Program serves as the advocate for the Survivor. The SOS Program provides support, information, and services closest to where the family resides.
Support Coordinators
Function as the long term support personnel for Survivors. Support Coordinators will coordinate support groups, briefings to the community and leaderships, and provide life skills and supportive counseling. Support Coordinators work closely with Casualty Assistance Center Benefit Coordinator and the Casualty Assistance Officers to ensure the Survivor receives necessary services.
We provide an avenue of resources to include quarterly newsletters, information briefs, classes (upon request) and social activities.
