Command Sgt. Maj. Julian B. Adams, 1st Battalion, 1-145th Aviation Regiment

Command Sergeant Major Julian Bruce Adams is native of Enterprise, Alabama. He graduated from Enterprise High School in June 1999 and entered the United States Army on September 29, 1999, graduating June 2000 as a 67T Blackhawk helicopter repairer at Fort Eustis, Virginia. CSM Adams recently served as the First Sergeant for B Company 46 Aviation Support Battalion, JBLM, WA. His previous assignments include: First Sergeant of D Company 2-158 Assault Helicopter Battalion, JBLM, WA; First Sergeant of A Company 1-229 Attack Helicopter Battalion, JBLM, WA; Senior OC/T Aviation SI at Fort Hood, TX; Platoon Sergeant of B Company 3-158 Assault Helicopter Battalion Katterbach, GE; Platoon Sergeant of B Company 602 Aviation Support Battalion Camp Humphreys, SK, . His deployments include Kosovo for KFOR 2001, Operation Iraq Freedom 2003-2004, Operation Iraq Freedom 2005-2006, Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) 2008-2009.

CSM Adams’ military and civilian education includes the Sergeant Major Residence Course Class 73, Master Leaders Course, Senior Leader Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Course, Warrior Leader Course, Blackhawk Helicopter Standardization Instructor Course, Instructor Training Course. CSM Adams earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Columbia College.
