1st Sgt. Christopher Durkovic, Deputy Commandant, NCOA JBLE
First Sergeant Christopher Durkovic hails from Romeoville, Illinois and enlisted into the U.S. Army on 15 April 2009. He attended Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri where he earned the MOS of 88M, Motor Transport Operator. On 25 June 2012, 1SG Durkovic re-classed to 15U, CH-47 Helicopter Repairer. First Sergeant Durkovic is a single father of three children, Adrianna, Chase, and Charlize.
First Sergeant Durkovic served in positions ranging from Squad Leader; Section Sergeant; Flight Platoon Sergeant; First Sergeant; Battalion Sexual Harassment / Assault Response Coordinator; Battalion Equal Opportunity Leader; Casualty Assistance Officer / Casualty Notification Officer.
