The AVCOE G-5 conducts strategic planning, policy development, and engagements in support of the USAACE Commanding General to synchronize the Aviation Branch vision, priorities, and objectives across the Aviation Enterprise, the Army Staff, the DoD, and Congress. The G5 supervises AVCOE strategic communications and the Foreign Liaison Office.
The Commander's Initiatives Group provides essential direct assistance to the commanding general by developing, synchronizing and distributing key elements of his vision and strategic objectives to internal and external audiences in order to successfully execute the Army Aviation Campaign Plan.
