Command Sgt. Maj. Daniel Cromer
CSM Cromer is a native of Cleveland Ohio; he enlisted in the army in June 2003 as a Construction Engineer. CSM Cromer has served as a Team Leader, Squad Leader, Section Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Company Training NCO, Operations Sergeant, Power Station Sergeant, Company 1SG and Squadron Operations Sergeant Major. His previous stateside assignments include two tenures at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and Fort Bliss, Texas. His previous overseas assignments include Vicenza, Italy and three tenures at Schofield Barracks, Hawai'i. He has deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan in support of the Global War on Terror and has deployed in support of operational rotations across Europe.
CSM Cromer completed all levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Professional Military Education up to and including the United States Sergeants Major Academy (Class 72). His additional military schooling includes Airborne School, Digital Training Management System, Puma UAV Course, SHARP Course, Jumpmaster Course, Combat Lifesaver Course, Basic Lifesaver Course, Occupational Safety Health Course, Combative Course, Air Movement Operator Course, 1SG and Company Commanders Course, Contingency Airfield Repair Course, Joint Engineer Operations Course, CSA Core Course, CSM Development Course and Garrison Pre Command Course.
CSM Cromer’s civilian education includes an Associate Degree in Construction Management from Coastline Community College, Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona Global Campus, Undergrad Certificate of Leadership and Workforce Development from CGS and a Master of Leadership Science with a concertation in community engagement from University of Texas at El Paso.
CSM Cromer awards include, Meritorious Service Medal 4th award, Army Commendation Medal 3rd award, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal 5th Award, Army Good Conduct Medal 6th Award, Meritorious Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Non Commissioned Officer Development Ribbon 5th award, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon 6th Award, NATO Medal, Basic and Senior Parachutist Badge, and Combat Action Badge. He has also earned Ukrainian, and German Foreign Jump wings.
CSM Cromer resides his wife of 21 years, son, and daughter.
