ART MURAL CONTEST
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: OCTOBER 31, 2022

Parks Reserve Forces Training Area is calling on the community to create an energy-themed art mural design during Energy Action Month. One winning design (from four finalists) will be transferred by a local urban artist to the side of Parks Reserve Forces Training Area’s energy microgrid e-house.

Why is energy resilience important?

Once complete, the microgrid system (coupled with renewable energy and battery storage) will ensure Parks Reserve Forces Training Area has uninterrupted access to resilient power during times of utility disruption. When the power grid goes down, the microgrid enables our Soldiers to remain operational and sustain the mission. Learn more by visiting www.usar.army.mil/sustainability or follow @SustainableUSAR.
