PARKS RESERVE FORCES TRAINING AREA IS HPCON CHARLIE
EFFECTIVE 12:01 a.m. NOV. 20, 2020

Message from the Garrison Commander

Parks Reserve Forces Training Area (PRFTA)  shifted back into Health Protection Condition (C) on Nov. 20, 2020 in an effort to keep the PRFTA  Team as safe as possible, and in light of the actions taken by the California State Government in response to the new surge of COVID-19 cases in the state. This is not a cause for alarm nor does it indicate that we are having a surge in cases on the Installation. This is to allow the Installation to be more dynamic when responding to the ongoing pandemic crisis and to allow us to protect our communities more efficiently.

We will be at HPCON C for the foreseeable future. We will continue to operate the way we have for most of 2020, to enable us to meet the requirements of our Training Mission. Every effort will continue to be made to ensure our Team Members, Tenant Partners, our Training Units and our Residents are protected to the utmost of our ability with Mr. Rocco working with the Directors to ensure all considerations are taken for all of our employees at the Installation.

Please wear a mask, wash your hands and practice social distancing whenever possible.

IF YOU ARE SICK, PLEASE STAY HOME AND CALL YOUR DOCTOR.

PRFTA Law Enforcement perform temperature checks at the Entry Control Point and personnel exhibiting a fever will not be allowed on post.

Facilities and services that remain open are:

•             All Directorate of Emergency Services facilities and services – fire, police and dispatch

•             AAFES Mini Mart (PX) with a limit placed on number of patrons allowed in at a time and social distancing measures.

•             Dining Facility is open to eligible patrons.
