MISSION:
The Plans, Analysis and Integration Office (PAIO) provides professional strategic and management services which facilitate mission readiness and promotes well-being for all supported elements.
PAIO gathers and analyzes data, tracks the implementation of higher headquarters' policies and programs and oversees the integration of long range plans.
Army Stationing & Installation Plan (ASIP):
The Army Stationing and Installation Plan (ASIP) is the official Army database for planning populations on Army installations worldwide. ASIP is a baseline for installation planning that provides a consistent look at forces to be supported and provides visibility of potential planning issues. ASIP data is a basis for Military Construction (MILCON), Installation Status Report (ISR) data collection, and Base Operations (BASOPS) Service requirements. Army Staff uses ASIP as the database of record for installation demographics.
Best Garrison Competition:
The Best Garrison Competition (BGC) recognizes excellence in installation management. The best garrisons are recognized by Installation Management Command (IMCOM) each year for their excellence in fostering service culture and their stellar accomplishments trumpeted across the enterprise as worthy of emulation to embrace IMCOM’s Service Culture.
Installation Planning Board (IPB):
The Installation Planning Board (IPB) serves as the platform for identifying and providing a common operating picture of installation capabilities and tenant requirements. The IPB is a mechanism for enhanced communication and decision making at the installation, as well as providing a template for prioritizing local requirements, gauging impact on readiness, and highlighting issues for elevation to Army senior leaders. The Garrison uses IPB results to establish initiatives for the installation’s strategic plan. The IPB exists to disseminate information and show integration of garrison functions, particularly as they relate to the Senior Commander and other installation mission partners. The IPB is not a decision-making body, it is a tool to discuss mission partner concerns, receive feedback and integrate priorities for Garrison support.
Installation Status Report (ISR):
Installation Status Report (ISR) is an Army Management Decision Support Program with a purpose to assess installation readiness by providing visibility and accessibility to facility, sustainable management and service assessment data; assessing condition and mission capability of installation assets and identifying necessary funding for improvements; capturing holistic view of installation capacities and capabilities; and evaluating the cost and quality of providing support services to Service Members and their families. It is installation-wide and involving other base support service providers such as Army Sustainment Command, MEDCOM and NETCOM. ISR assess installation level conditions and performance against Army-wide standards assisting leadership to make informed and responsible decisions required to sustain and/or improve installation activities, operational capabilities and support services. ISR is comprised of three main components: Services (Performance), Services (Cost), and Infrastructure.
Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE):
Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) is an online program that allows customers to find information about services offered by DoD offices and submit rated comment cards with experiences via the web for services received. Customers can request feedback to the comments they make or choose to remain anonymous. It allows garrison directorates the opportunity to gauge customer’s perception of provided services. Strategic Planning (SP):
Strategic Planning determines where an organization is going over the next 5/10/25 years or more and how it is going to get there. The Plans Analysis and Integration Office is the proponent for the Presidio of Monterey’s Strategic Plan in conjunctions with the other Garrison Directorates and partner organizations on the installation.
