Welcome to the Fort Lee Range Operations Branch 

The Fort Lee Range Operations Branch is your dedicated resource for world-class military training support. Our mission is to provide and manage live-fire ranges, maneuver training lands, and state-of-the-art training facilities that enable military units to meet their training objectives. We serve as the central authority for the coordination, control, and monitoring of all hazardous training and live-fire activities conducted across our range complex, training areas, and live training facilities to ensure every operation is carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Additional Range Operations responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining the Range Operations Fire Desk and Safety Net, monitoring Aviation Flight Operations, and providing a critical communications link for Emergency Services. Whether you are a unit commander, training officer, or support personnel, the Fort Lee Range Operations Branch is committed to delivering a safe, well-coordinated, and mission-ready training environment.

Mission

The Fort Lee Range Operations Branch provides comprehensive live training support to the installation across all functional areas of the Sustainable Range Program, including Range Operations, Range Modernization, Range Development, and Integrated Training Area Management. Our mission is to ensure the safe, effective, and sustainable use of Fort Lee ranges and training areas in alignment with the Senior Mission Commander’s intent. We enforce applicable regulations, including FL REG 350-1, AR 385-63, AR 350-19, and AR 350-52, and use this site to deliver clear, accessible information to supported units so they can plan, schedule, and execute training safely and in compliance with established standards.
