WHAT IS A YELLOW ZONE REGION?
Information from January 24, 2021.

MOVEMENT: Until February 15, 2021, movement between regions is allowed only for work, health and reason of necessity. 

CURFEW: From 2200 to 0500.

SHOPPING MALLS/CENTERS: Closed on weekends, holidays and day before holidays. The exceptions are pharmacies, grocery stores, stores that sell tobacco products (tabaccheria), and newspaper stands. 
SPORTS: Only professional/competitive national level sports approved. No contact sports allowed.
ITALIAN RESTAURANTS, BARS: Dine-in from 0500 to 1800. Take-away allowed until 2200. Bars, ice cream shops and bakeries are open until 1800. 
ITALIAN BARBERS, HAIRDRESSERS, BEAUTY SALONS: Open. Confirm operating hours before movement.
ITALIAN GYMS AND POOLS: Closed.
ITALIAN SCHOOLS:
• Lower school kindergarden/nurseries (Asilo): No change, still active.
• Elementary School: No change, still active.
• Middle School: No change, still active.
• High School: 50% in presence and 50% virtual learning.

MUSEUMS and GALLERIES: May be open Monday through Friday. Confirm operating hours prior to movement. 
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Not to exceed 50% capacity (does not apply to school buses).

MOVEMENT: Until February 15, 2021 movement between regions and towns is allowed only for work, health and reason of necessity. 
If one's town of residence has less than 5,000 inhabitants, travel within a radius of 30Km is authorized, except to provincial capitals (Vicenza, Padova, Pisa, Livorno, etc.). 

CURFEW: From 2200 to 0500.
SHOPPING MALLS/CENTERS: Closed on weekends, holidays and day before holidays. The exceptions are pharmacies, grocery stores, stores that sell tobacco products (tabaccheria), and newspaper stands.

ITALIAN RESTAURANTS, BARS: Closed. Take-away allowed until 2200. No restrictions for food delivery.
BARBERS, HAIRDRESSERS, BEAUTY SALONS:
Open. Confirm operating hours before movement.
ITALIAN GYMS AND POOLS: Closed.
ITALIAN SCHOOL:
• Lower school kindergarden/nurseries (Asilo): No change, still active .
• Elementary School: No change, still active.
• Middle School: 6th grade (Prima Media) in-person. 7th and 8th grade (Second and Terza Media) virtual learning. 
• High School: 50% in presence and 50% virtual learning.
MUSEUMS and GALLERIES: Closed.

Preventive Measure Tips/Guidelines:

There are simple everyday preventative actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses:

• Avoid seasonal influenza by getting your annual influenza shot from your healthcare provider.

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

• Stay home while you are sick.

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds OR use alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
