Command Sergeant Major Jeffrey A. Paluso is a native of Gilroy, California. He enlisted into the United States Army from Chapman, KS in March 2001. He attended the United States Army Basic Infantry School (OSUT) at Fort Benning, GA. CSM Paluso served in numerous leadership and Instructor positions to include Team leader with 1^st Battalion, 32^nd Infantry Regiment, 10^th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, NY. Senior Scout with 1^st Battalion, 17^th Infantry Regiment, 172^nd SBCT, Fort Wainwright, AK. Squad Leader and Section Sergeant with 2ABCT, First Infantry Division, Fort Riley, KS. Instructor Writer with 4^th Ranger Training Battalion, Fort Benning, GA. Platoon Sergeant and First Sergeant with 1^st Battalion, 16^th Infantry Regiment, 1ABCT, First Infantry Division, Fort Riley, KS. Senior Military Science Instructor and Military Science Instructor with Truman State University, 3^rd BDE, USACC, Kirksville, MO. Branch Chief for the Maneuver Senior Leaders Course and Deputy Commandant of the Henry Caro Noncommissioned Officer Academy, Fort Benning, GA. CSM Paluso’s most recent assignment was the Command Sergeant Major of the 1^ST Battalion, 46^th  Infantry Regiment, 197 IN BDE, Fort Benning, GA. CSM Paluso has numerous overseas assignments.

 

CSM Paluso has attended the Basic, Advanced, Senior Leader Courses and the Sergeants Major Course, along with Airborne School, Air Assault School, Ranger School, Army Basic Instructor Course, Tactical Certification Course, Master Resiliency Course, Common Faculty Development Instructor Course, and Master Educator Course. CSM Paluso has a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Workforce Development.
