Colonel Werner J. Barden is a native of Thomasville, GA. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Lee University, TN in 1993. He commissioned into the United States Army in 1999 from North Georgia College where he received his Master's Degree in International Studies. COL Barden received his Master of Strategic Studies degree from the United States Army War College in 2020.
