The Rail Operation Center (ROC) will assist Unit’s by appointment only in an effort to decrease the potential spread of COVID-19.

Unit’s requiring:

  • Blocking Bracing material

  • HAZMAT package assistance

  • Container inspections

  • Load Plans created or reviewed

  • Cost estimates

  • Container or convoy clearance

Fort Hood Rail Operations Center (ROC) Mission

 

  • The ROC supports loading/unloading of equipment and the movement of railcars.

  • Issues, receives, maintains and accounts for the Installation deployable container assets.

  • Process off post convoy clearances through the Joint Task Force and Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT).

  • Provides assistance in determining Blocking, Bracing, Packing, Crating and Tie-down (BBPCT) requirements and cost estimates.

 

Rail Tie-down Training

To schedule Rail Tie-down training, contact the BBPCT Coordinators at 286- 5810 or 618-7258 at least 30 days prior to the desired training date.

 

Packing/BBPCT

To schedule packing/BBPCT classes contact the BBPCT Section at 288-7680 at least 30 days prior to the desired training date.
