Convoy Clearance and Container Management Mission
Container/Convoy section supports the issuing, receiving, maintenance and accountability of the Installation deployable container assets.
Process off post convoy clearances through the Joint Task Force and Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT)
Units require a Container Control Officer (CCO) to manage all unit owned and temp-loan containers. CCO must have duty appointment orders and Joint Container Management (JCM) access.
All deploying containers must be Container Safety Convention (CSC) certified through redeployment.
If unit doesn’t have enough containers (depending on MTOE) they can request deployable containers from AFSBn-Hood.
