Winter Holiday Schedule for Facilities, Services

Below is a list of modified hours, closures and other information over the holidays.

Friday, Dec. 24, and Friday, Dec. 31, are federal holidays. Almost all garrison offices will be closed. Emergency services will be open.

Monday, Dec. 27 and Monday, Jan. 3 are U.S. Army Pacific training holidays and day of no significant activity, or DONSA for the 25th Infantry Division and garrison. Soldiers should check with their unit leadership to confirm whether they have a day off or not.

On training holidays, garrison offices are open but customers going to offices with uniformed staff may experience longer wait times than usual.

Child Care

-All child development centers, family child care homes and school age centers are closed Friday, Dec. 24, 25, 31.

Commissary

Dec. 24: Open 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Dec. 25: Closed
Dec. 31: Open 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
Jan. 1: Closed

Golf Courses

Nagorski Golf Course is closed Dec. 20 and 27.

Leilehua Golf Course is open 7 days a week from 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Dining Facilities

-Holiday and weekend DFAC schedule is available here.

Island Palm Communities

-All offices will close early at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 23 and will be closed Dec. 24 and 25. They will reopen Monday, Jan. 3.

Physical Fitness Centers

Dec. 23: Fort Shafter, Martinez, Tripler, open from 5 a.m.-1 p.m. Helemano is open from 5:45 a.m.-1 p.m. and Wheeler is open from 5 a.m. to noon.

Dec. 26: Fort Shafter and Martinez are open from 7 a.m. to noon.
Dec. 31: Closed
Jan. 1: Closed

-The U.S. Army Museum of Hawaii will be closed Dec. 24, 25, 31, and Jan. 1, 2022.

Single Soldier Holiday Meal

-The USO Schofield Barracks is hosting a Holiday Celebration, Dec. 25 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Event is open to single and unacompanied service members while supplies last. For other USO holiday events visit https://hawaii.uso.org/events.
