Upon a Soldier's death, the U.S. Army is required to make a reasonable and good faith effort to determine if any local debts exist. Legal notices for claims of indebtedness will be posted for a minimum of three weeks.

U.S. Army Hawaii and U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii extends sincere regrets and condolences to the families and units who have lost Soldiers.

Claim of Indebtedness. The commander of U.S. Army Pacific regrets to announce the death of Spc. Magana Calzada. Capt. David Spain has been appointed as the summary court martial officer and will settle all claims for or against Calzada's estate. Anyone owing money or having a just claim for or against the Calzada's estate should contact Spain at david.r.spain3.mil@mail.mil.
