Eligibility

In order to qualify for the Security Force Assistance Brigade, you must:

• Maintain your deployable status
• Obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (interim acceptable)
• Pass Official Military Personnel File (OMPF) check for derogatory information
• Pass the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT)
• Pass a rigorous five-day assessment and selection or a command interview and be selected for service in the SFAB

Application Process

Officers and Soldiers must submit the following completed documents to the 4th SFAB (Fort Carson, Colorado) at usarmy.carson.forscom.list.4-sfab-recruiting@army.mil:

SFAB Volunteer Questionnaire
DD FORM 2807-1 - Report of Medical History
DD FORM 2808 - Report of Medical Examination (Ranger Physical)
