Col. Nick Sinclair, Brigade Commander

Col. Nick Sinclair is a native of Eastpointe, Michigan, and commissioned as an armor officer from The Citadel.
He served in numerous command and staff positions including scout platoon leader with 4th Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division; scout platoon leader, 3rd Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 4th Brigade, 4th Infantry Division; infantry company executive officer, 3rd Bn., 67th Armor Reg.; plans officer, 172nd Armor Brigade Combat Team; infantry company commander, 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 172nd ABCT; troop commander, 172nd ABCT; maneuver planner, G5, 4th Inf. Div.; executive officer, 1st Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, 3rd Armor Brigade Combat Team, 4th Inf. Div.; executive officer, 3rd ABCT, 4th Inf. Div.; Commander's Initiatives Group (CAC); commander, 3rd Squadron, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd ABCT, 1st Cavalry Division; and Russia, Ukraine, Eurasia Division Chief (J5, Joint Staff).
Sinclair has combat and operational deployments to the Middle East, Central Asia and Europe.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from The Military College of South Carolina and master’s degrees from Webster University, the Advanced Military Studies Program and the Marine Corps War College.
Sinclair is married and has three children.
