The Dwight Johnson “Most Lethal Teams” Competition is a dynamic and rigorous event that brings together soldiers from within the division to showcase their skills, teamwork, and competitive spirit. The 5-person teams will compete in various challenges ranging from physical fitness tests to marksmanship, the competition serves as a platform for soldiers to demonstrate their readiness and effectiveness in combat scenarios. Ivy Week's Sporting Competition is a thrilling showcase of athleticism and teamwork within the division. The Ivy Strong Weightlifting Competition celebrates the commitment to physical fitness and excellence that is integral to the division's culture, while also fostering a sense of unity and pride among its members. Teams will be comprised of 6-pax each of varying weight classes. Events include bench press, squat, and deadlift.

Building Renaming
The Headquarters Renaming Ceremony is a poignant tribute to the legacy and service of David H. McNerney, a distinguished 4ID soldier and Medal of Honor recipient. This solemn event marks the renaming of the division's headquarters in his honor, recognizing his extraordinary courage and leadership during the Vietnam War. Soldiers, veterans, and community members gather to pay homage to McNerney's selfless sacrifice and unwavering commitment to duty. The ceremony includes the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, highlighting McNerney's remarkable achievements and the enduring values he embodied. By renaming the headquarters after him, the 4th Infantry Division honors his memory and ensures that future generations will remember his bravery and sacrifice. The event serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by all those who have served and a testament to the division's proud heritage of valor and excellence.
The renaming ceremony will be immediately followed by a reception in the Hurtgen Forest (Room 107) at the McNerney building (4ID HQ).

Awards Ceremony & Family Day
The Award Ceremony during the 4th Infantry Division's Ivy Week is a momentous occasion that recognizes and celebrates the outstanding achievements and contributions of soldiers within the division. Held at the end of Ivy Week, this ceremony honors individuals and units for their excellence and commitment. Soldiers gather with their peers, commanders, and families to witness the presentation of award and commendations by senior leadership. Family Day will kick off simultaneously. Units and families are invited to Iron House Park for food, fun, and games! Units also have the option to conduct Family Day in their unit AOs.

Utah Beach Installation PT Event
The Ivy Division commemorates major battles it has fought in through competitive, team-building PT events. This event brings together troops from across the division for a morning of vigorous exercise and camaraderie. Through sweat and effort, soldiers’ bond as they push their limits together, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose and striving to be recognized as the best battalion in the division. The Installation PT Event not only promotes physical well-being but also reinforces the division's commitment to readiness and resilience. It serves as a powerful reminder of the dedication and determination of the soldiers within the 4th Infantry Division. In lieu of the Army birthday, the Installation PT event will be immediately followed by a cake cutting ceremony facilitated 4ID G4.
