Commander
LTC Samantha Hoxha
Lt. Col. Samantha Hoxha was commissioned from the United States Military Academy and received a commission as a second lieutenant in May 2006.
She recently served as the Chief of Staff for the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany, from May 2023 to May 2024. Before her assignment as the Chief of Staff, she was assigned as the Senior Military Police Observer Coach Trainer for the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany, from August 2021 to May 2023.
Other key duty assignments include: Executive Officer and Battalion S-3 Operations Officer, 759th Military Police Battalion, Fort Carson, Colorado; Deputy Provost Marshal, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson; Education Officer, Simon Center for the Professional Military Ethic, West Point, New York; Commander, 221st Military Police Detachment, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia; Battalion S-3 and Commander, Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 793rd Military Police Battalion, Fort Richardson, Alaska; Executive Officer, Platoon Leader, and Rear Detachment Commander, 164th Military Police Company, Fort Richardson.
Lt. Col. Hoxha deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Her military education includes Battalion Pre-Command Course, Battalion Tactical Commander Development Course, Military Police Pre-Command Course, Command and General Staff Officer College, Military Police Captain’s Career Course, Basic Officer Leaders Course, Military Police Officer Basic Course, Observer Coach Trainer Course, Capabilities and Combat Developers Course, and Law Enforcement Senior Leaders Course. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Geopolitics from the United States Military Academy and earned a Master of Arts in Adult Learning and Leadership from Columbia University Teachers College. She is currently enrolled in the Human and Organizational Learning doctoral program at George Washington University.
Lt. Col. Hoxha’s awards include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (5 Oak Leaf Clusters), the Army Commendation Medal (3 OLC, 1 R DEV), the Army Achievement Medal (3 OLC), the Meritorious Unit Citation (1 OLC), the Army Superior Unit Award, the Armed Forces Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the Iraqi Campaign Medal with campaign star, the Army Service Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon (2 OLC), the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Combat Action Badge.

CSM Marcus A. Mitchell
Command Sgt. Maj. Marcus A. Mitchell enlisted from Bremerton, Washington, in the U.S. Army in March 2002 as a Military Police Officer. He attended Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, where he was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty as a Military Police Officer.
His previous duties and assignments include Gunner, Driver, and Team Leader, 230th Military Police Company, Kaiserslautern, Germany; Desk Sergeant, TMCI NCO and Team leader, 16th MP Det. / 978th Military Police Company, Fort Bliss, Texas; Drill Sergeant, A Co., 787th Military Police Battalion, Fort Leonard Wood; Plans NCO, Operations Sergeant, HHC, 8th Military Police Brigade / 39th Military Police Det, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Platoon Sergeant, 230th and 92nd Military Police Companies, Kaiserslautern; Detachment Sergeant and First Sergeant, 178th MP Det. and 64th Military Police Company, Fort Hood (known as Fort Cavazos since April 2023), Texas; Senior MMS NCO, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, Kaiserslautern; and Facility SGM, United States Army Corrections Activity – Europe, Kaiserslautern.
CSM Mitchell’s Deployments include Operation Iraqi Freedom II (Baghdad, Iraq) and Operation Enduring Freedom II (Kandahar, Afghanistan).
