COL Delarius V. Tarlton
Col. Delarius V. Tarlton received his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Defense Artillery through the Army ROTC program at Florida A&M University in 2002. He holds a Bachelor of Criminal Justice from Florida A&M University, a Master of Science in Business with a concentration in Supply Chain Management and Logistics from the University of Kansas, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College. Col. Tarlton is recognized as a Demonstrated Master Logistician by the International Society of Logistics in recognition of his professional experience and logistics contributions throughout the course of his career.
He has completed a wide range of military education and operational assignments. Col. Command Sergeant Major Samuel G. Miles enlisted in the U.S. Army in May 1992 and attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, followed by Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gregg-Adams (known as Fort Lee prior to 2023), Virginia, where he graduated as an Automated Logistic Specialist (92A).
