At the 904th Contracting Battalion/ Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Stewart, our mission is clear - to provide vigilant and unwavering support to the Fort Stewart Garrison, 3rd Infantry Division and Tenet units to ensure its operational success!

As a subordinate unit of the 419th Contracting Support Brigade at Fort Liberty. The 904th Contracting Battalion/ MICC-Fort Stewart is a key figure in the support of Fort Stewart and Hunter Airfield (HAAF). As dedicated professionals in the field of contracting, 904th Contracting Battalion and MICC Stewart personnel play an integral role inbase and 3ID operations by providing "cradle to grave" contracting solutions. Through leveraging innovative acquisition strategies, our contracting professionals maximize the value of every dollar spent, allowing the garrison to allocate resources where they are needed most.

MICC Stewart actively seeks opportunities to engage with small businesses, fostering economic growth within our local community. The organization is responsible for contracting goods and services in direct support of Soldiers, their dependents, civilian and contractor personnel working and living at Ft Stewart and HAAF. Procurements include supplies, services, minor construction, and utilities. Our decisive team works closely with supported organizations to ensure that all contracts deliver the best value for Fort Stewart, both in terms of financial cost and the quality of goods and services provided.

Possessing a wealth of knowledge and experience in business and contract management, MICC Stewart has been instrumental in operational contract support and oversight, ensuring all contracts are managed effectively from inception to completion. This includes everything from the initial planning and procurement processes, through the execution and performance phases, to the eventual closure of the contract.

Our ultimate goal is to support the mission readiness of the Fort Stewart and HAAF Garrison. By delivering quality contracts on time and within budget, we enable the garrison to focus on its core mission - training and preparing Soldiers for any challenge they may face. To do this, MICC Stewart plays a significant role in the wider strategic planning of Fort Stewart and the nation. Through the operational contract support lens, MICC Stewart provides insight and understanding contracting effects for long-term planning and decision-making processes at the base, ensuring that all contracts align with and support the overall mission and objectives of Fort Stewart and tenant units.

We are proud to be part of the Fort Stewart community and to contribute to the success of the garrison. Our dedicated team of contracting professionals is committed to providing exceptional support, ensuring that Fort Stewart remains a premier installation for our Soldiers and their families.”
