Command Sgt. Maj. David A. Garcia, 2nd Battalion, 13th Aviation Regiment

Command Sergeant Major David Garcia enlisted into the US Army in 2005, attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, SC and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Eustis, VA.  Upon completion of his training, he was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty code of 15R AH-64 Attack Helicopter Repairer.  His additional military education includes Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Master Resiliency Trainer Course, Air Assault School, Battle Staff NCO Course, Basic Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, and the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy class 73.

CSM Garcia’s deployments include Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Freedom’s Sentinel and Operation Atlantic Resolve.  CSM Garcia is married to Jamie Kryger of Chicago, Illinois and he has three beautiful children: Liam, Kahtia and Hazel.
