Lt. Col. Sean T. Smith's previous assignments include Aviation Officer for 2d Security Force Assistance Brigade, Battalion Operations Officer and Executive Officer in 1-14th Aviation Battalion at Fort Rucker, Operations Officer in 2916th Aviation Battalion at the National Training Center Fort Irwin, Theater Aviation Planner at ARCENT, at the Pentagon with the offices of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Readiness and Force Management and the Office of Chief Legislative Liaison, and with 1-82 Attack Reconnaissance Battalion at Fort Liberty, NC as a Platoon Leader and Company Commander.
