CSM JOSHUA M. KELLEY
CSM Joshua M. Kelley is a native of Evansville Indiana and enlisted in the Army on 22 July 2003 as an Infantryman.
He attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Georgia.
CSM Kelley has served as a Squad Automatic Rifleman, Grenadier, Rifleman, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Reconnaissance Squad Leader, Weapons Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Reconnaissance Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant, Aviation Brigade Operations Sergeant Major, and Division Chief Operations Sergeant Major. CSM Kelley has also held the position of Recruiter and Senior Military Science Instructor.
His CONUS assignments include C Co 2-54 IN OSUT at Fort Moore Georgia, B Co 3-502 Fort Campbell Kentucky, B Co 2-506 Fort Campbell Kentucky, HHC 2-506 Fort Campbell Kentucky, Highland Station Chicago Recruiting Battalion, B Co 3-187 Fort Campbell Kentucky, HHC 3-187 Fort Campbell Kentucky, A Co 3-187 Fort Campbell Kentucky, University of Akron 7th ROTC BDE, and the SGM-A at Fort Bliss Texas. His overseas assignments include 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade Camp Humphreys South Korea, and HHBN 2nd Infantry Division Camp Humphreys South Korea. CSM Kelley has deployed to Iraq, Kuwait, and Afghanistan in a variety of roles.
CSM Kelley’s military education includes Airborne School, Air Assault School, Combat Life Savers Course, Tactical Combat Casualty Care Course, Basic Leader Course, Recruiting School, Advanced Leader Course, Combatives Level One, Senior Leader Course, Pathfinder School, the University Senior Leaders Course, the Common Faculty Development Instructor Course, the Sergeants Major Academy, the XO/S3/Operations Sergeant Major Course, the Battalion Pre-Command Course and the Battalion Command Sergeants Major Development Course.
CSM Kelley’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Start Medal (second award), the Meritorious Service Medal (second award), the Army Commendation, Medal (fifth award), the Army Achievement Medal (sixth award), the Army Good Conduct Medal (sixth award), the Afghan Campaign Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Medal, the Army Service Medal, the Over Seas Service Medal, the NATO Medal, the Basic Army Instructor Badge, the Gold Recruiters Badge with third Sapphire, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Expert Infantryman Badge, the Pathfinder Badge, the Army Parachutist Badge, and the Air Assault Badge.
CSM Kelley is accompanied by his wife Katy who he has been married to for 20 years, his daughter Mikayla, age 19, and his son Hunter, age 13.
