Mr. Keith Jackson is the Deputy to the Garrison Commander for U.S. Army Garrison Natick, Massachusetts. In his current role, he supports the Garrison Commander in accomplishing the mission of overall base operations management and represents the commander in their absence. He is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations in support of the installation and its community partners and for providing administrative program direction to various directors and special staff in finance, logistics, police and fire services, housing, engineering and environmental services, community activities, family programs and in the personnel arena.

Prior to assuming his current position in January 2024, Mr. Jackson had been serving as the Deputy to the Garrison Commander of the U.S. Army Garrison Devens Reserve Forces Training Area (RFTA), MA. He has also served as the Plans, Analysis & Integration Officer, Director of Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security, Antiterrorism Officer, Chief of Range Operations, and Training Support Specialist.

Mr. Jackson's service as a Department of the Army professional spans over 40 years. In 2005, he retired as a Combat Engineer with 23 years of active-duty service. He immediately began a career as a Civilian Army Professional with the Installation Management Command at Devens RFTA. He has completed the Army Management and Staff College Basic, Intermediate, and Advance, the Installation Management Command's DPTMS signature course and was selected for the FY25 City-County Management Senior Fellows Program (CMSFP).

Mr. Jackson's civilian awards include the Commander's Award for Civilian Service (2) and Meritorious Civilian Service Medal  His military awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (1st Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Commendation Medal (4th Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Achievement Medal (7th Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Good Conduct Medal (7th Award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Korean Defense Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Kosovo Champaign Medal, Armed Force Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (W/Numeral 3), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon (W/Numeral 4), Military Outstanding Volunteer Medal, NATO Medal (2nd Award), Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Superior Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Commendation and also earned the Sapper Tab. He was inducted into the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Club in 1994 and received the Army Engineer de Flury Medal in 2007.

Beyond his career, Mr. Jackson is married to Lisa Hakola, and they have two children, Matthew and Rebecca. Mr. Jackson advocates for our nation's veterans, service members, and military families on an array of issues. He is an All-American Past State (MA) Commander for the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). He is currently the President of the Board of Trustees for the VFW National Home 2019-2025.
